VISIT WSBI'S SCULPTURE PARK!
Located on Main Street in Moraine, Ohio, just west of the bridge over I-75, the park features a replica of the 1913 Model G Aeroboat, benches and historical information. Take a break from biking or hiking and learn more about the Wright Brothers work on aeroboats. WSBI thanks the City of Moraine for the benches, pathways, plaques and grounds maintenance. Also, thanks to Waste Management (Stony Hollow Landfill) for the rock, Gary Warlaumont, Bront Machining, Inc. and Bob Palo for the sculpture, and Electro-Polish Co. and Andrew Casey Electrical Contractors, both in Dayton, for their work to complete the sculpture. |

Sculpture Dedication set for September 23 -- 10am
Wright Seaplane Base, Inc. members will dedicate a nearly quarter-scale replica of Wright Aeroboat 1913 Model G on September 23, 2023, at 10am in Moraine, Ohio. Guests may park at a church lot (3315 Main Street) across the street from the park site. Raindate is October 7.
WSBI members Present at Oshkosh AirVenture
On July 23, 2019, Dennis and Karen McTaggart were thrilled to present Wright Bros. Float Plane Development & Technology slideshow at Oshkosh AirVenture in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. The 30-minute presentation in the Vette Theater venue explained successful and not-so-successful innovations and features on Wright Models B-1, B-2, CH and G aeroboats. Approximately 20 guests attended the presentation and learned more about WSBI, the National Aviation Heritage Trail and Dayton, Ohio, the Birthplace of Aviation.
